We had the most amazing stay celebrating 50 years of marriage with all our children. Thank you for your kindness and for arranging the catering. It took a great weight off my mind to know that this was dealt with and we were very thankful. The grandchildren loved feeding the goats and the eggs are wonderful, we will miss collecting them in the morning. There is nothing I would say to change, it was perfect for our ever increasing family, thank you for making it so specail and so welcoming.

What you have acheived at Lower Damgate Farm is simply amazing. I cannot imagine what you had to do to turn your property into sumpcious and spacious luxury accomodation. when I saw the cow shed pictures in the games room and realised that we were living in them … unrecognisable, you should be very proud of what you have acheived.. Not only were you a wonderful hostess you also managed to acheive the impossible and provide a venue where the whole family had something to do and not an arguement or grumpy word was said all weekend. We loved the animals so much that we wanted to adopt them too.. well thats an idea? All your hard work has paid off and it was the best weekend our extended family has ever had and thats saying something. Thank you

On behalf of all of my family, I would like to say what a wonderful weekend we had at Lower Damgate. Everyone thought the cottages and the space we had to explore was wonderful. You were so warm and welcoming to us all, we immediately all felt at home. There was definitely something for everyone. The only thing I wish was that we had booked for longer to enjoy it more – but there is always next year!

We’ve had a wonderful few days staying at the alpaca hut. It’s lovely and cosy inside with lots of attention to detail (the bottle of fizz was a nice addition!). The hot tub was great to relax in and watch the stars on an evening but the best part is definitely the animals! They’re very friendly (especially if you have food) and they seemed so well cared for which was nice to see considering they are all rescued. It was great to be able to wander freely around the fields and spend as much time as we wanted with the alpacas and goats. Carolyn and Karl were very welcoming, making us feel at home for our short stay on the farm. I can’t recommend the alpaca hut enough and we’ll definitely be back in the future.

Three years later and we came back, only it was better than our expectations, everything had been updated and was so clean and comfortable New beds, furnishing etc so plush, even Wifi now which was a bonus” The children loved the play areas and of course the weather was perfect. I want to come back and do it all over again … only we wont leave it three years next time.

Dear Caroyln,
Many thanks for all you have done to make our get together, the best we have had so far. The cottages were all lovely and cozy and the surroundings were serene. Thank you for letting us use all the facilities, we could not have asked for more. The facilities were so nice that we could all be together when we wanted, but of course there was enough for that private moments. Everybody, young and old felt so relaxed after such a calming weekend and they thanked me for organising, but I have to say it is you and your team that deserves the most. I hope one day we will be able to comeback there, but certainly I will be recommending to my friends.
