Part of the Courtyard Property
The conversion retains a wealth of individual charm, with exposed beams, wooden and flagged floors as well as plush furnishings to relax into. The Courtyard (Reuben’s Roost, Bremen’s Barn and Hope’s Hideaway) has been given the nick name of the “Tardis” due to its expanse of space and move-ability, so whatever your occasion this is a perfect space to come to enjoy the company of family and friends.
Included are luxury fittings, up to date technology, Sat TV, WiFi and sound system and you will find a hidden appeal in these unique and very individual and well equipped barns.
The sitting room is large and has exposed beams and works well for groups or families as it has lots of soft seating and a large dining table as well as a gas log burning stove to snuggle up in front of. This room is perfect for relaxing and sharing drinks whilst you catch up with your friends and family. You can also roll back the rug to expose the flagged floors which are perfect if you want to dance a little! There is also a beautiful mezzanine in this room where you can escape to read a book or relax on the comfy small sofa bed up there.
The kitchen is fully equipped whilst retaining the charm of a country cottage yet hides the latest equipment such as dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and enough crockery and utensils to catering for large groups as well as individual needs.
The three bedrooms are all beautifully furnished and all have very comfortable beds as well as luxury furnishings.
There is a large ground floor double bedroom near to the bathroom with a large solid wooden bed, as well as a pull out occasional bed.
There is large upstairs light and airy double bedroom with a hidden toddle bed!
The third bedroom is upstairs under the eaves and has low beams! It is furnished with small double and a single. It has a full width internal gable window that looks down onto the sitting room. Children love this room as they can hide and watch the grown ups below!
All bedding is included and beds made up to welcome you. There is a shower as well as a bath and Hot water is on tap!
Though this is a self catering cottage, we greet you with a little welcome pack of essentials to get you going, and we invite you to come and feed the animals and collect eggs.
Outside there are patio and BBQ areas. Gardens with garden furniture, as well as a toddler play area and lawned recreational areas, there are also 22 acres of grounds to go and explore, play games or picnic in.
